Each material handles differently under the machine and by hand, and bringing them together cleanly is what puts this pattern firmly in the Ready for a Challenge tier. The finished Lamb is one of the most tactile and visually rich toys in the shop - that complexity is the point.

Skill Level: Ready for a Challenge
This challenging plush sewing pattern is built for experienced sewers who are confident with multiple fabric types and detailed finishing work. Velour stretches. Faux fur sheds and frays differently from woven fabrics. Felt face work requires a precise, patient hand. If you've worked through some of the Feeling Confident patterns - Mouse ( plush pattern), Bunny (plush pattern), or Teddy Bear (sewing pattern) - you'll have the right foundation for this one. The Puppy (plush pattern - ready for a challenge) and Hippo (plush pattern - ready for a challenge) are sister patterns at the same level if you'd like to build a set.

Velour fabric for the body + colorful fabric for the clothes
Two small pieces of black and grey felt for the face
One small piece of beige or light brown faux fur
