Medium Soft Doll Sewing Pattern PDF - Intermediate Level | Instant Download
This intermediate soft doll sewing pattern gives you everything you need to make a 12-inch (30 cm) fabric doll with a full dress - a digital PDF you download, print, and start sewing the same day. At twice the height of the Tiny Soft Doll, the Medium Doll is more forgiving to construct while still asking for the careful finishing detail that makes a handmade doll genuinely beautiful.
Pattern only - does not include a finished doll, fabric, or supplies.
What's Inside the PDF
A step-by-step sewing tutorial with more than 85 detailed photos guiding you through the full doll body and her dress, from first cut to finished figure
Full-scale pattern pieces for both the doll and the dress - print and cut, no resizing
A complete materials list so everything is ready before you begin
The finished doll stands approximately 12 inches (30 cm) tall.
Skill Level: Feeling Confident
You're comfortable with a sewing machine and hand stitching, and you're ready for a project with more construction steps and more garment detail than a beginner pattern. The face is embroidered by hand - a satisfying step that becomes more refined the more you practice it. If you'd like to try the smaller version first, the Tiny Soft Doll pattern (doll pattern - feeling confident) uses the same skill level at a 6½-inch (17 cm) scale. For a soft toy challenge in a different direction, the Lamb plush pattern (stuffed animal pattern - ready for a challenge) pushes the construction further.
